Since November 2000, over 200 authors have appeared in our bookstore in Bellows Falls Vermont to read from their books during book signings. Check our calendar, listed on the right, for events.

Elizabeth also sang at the Episcopal Church for a Hurricane Katrina benefit.  She always puts on a great show.  We carry her CD's at Village Square Booksellers- and play her music in the store's ITunes mix.

Café at Village Square Bookstore: serves Green Mountain Coffee, teas from the Republic of Tea, and Bellows House cookies. The café displays Arts and Craft items and is used for author events and workshops for the whole family.
Frequent Buyer Cards: $15 credit after $150 purchase. Ask to enroll in this free program for our loyal customers.
Events for the whole family - regularly scheduled events plus author events. Check our Calendar and the Events Menu. Events are normally free and open to the public unless a Workshop fee is mentioned. Call for reservations for events and books available at the event.

Our History: Village Square Booksellers was founded in 1992 and purchased by Pat Fowler in November 2000. Our Poetry Open Mic with the River Voices was started the first month. On April 28, 2002, a Moving Party was held and over 40 customers & friends moved the bookstore to its current location in the former Hinds Department Store, part of the Windham Hotel building.
