Just a Few Tickets Left! Elegant Excursion to Newport RI
 
The Friends of the Rockingham Free Public Library invite you to take an
elegant trip to Newport, RI. This day-tour will leave Bellows Falls on
Saturday morning, September 11th and return that evening.
 
Sit back and enjoy the chauffeured motorcoach ride to historic Newport,
where we will board the vintage "Newport Dinner Train", and enjoy the
scenic two hour train ride along beautiful Narragansett Bay. An
award-winning three course gourmet luncheon will be served by black-tie
waitstaff  as we travel in the first class Pullman car.

(Yankee Magazine Travel Guide awarded  the "Newport Dinner Train" its "Editor's
Choice",  and it was also selected by the Food Network for special commendation.)
 

There will be a stop for an inside tour of "Marble  House", the
magnificent Vanderbilt summer  "cottage", now a National Historic
Landmark.  This exquisite mansion, designed by Richard  Morris Hunt, was
inspired by "Petite Trinon" at Versailles, and is breathtaking in every
detail.

The Newport day-tour includes all this, plus time to shop, a scenic
return via the famous Oceanview Drive and luxurious door prizes aboard
the motorcoach --  rounding out a day not  to be missed!
