On Saturday, October 23, the Friends of the Rockingham Free Public Library invite the public to an entertaining evening of dinner, music and good cheer. The event will be held at the Masonic Temple at 61 Westminster St., right next door to the Library.

The evening will begin with cocktails at 6pm (cash bar), followed by dinner at 7pm. Live music by Vincent De Bernardo.

Harvest Moon of Saxton’s River will cater the dinner. Known ... for their innovative and delectable menus using fresh and local ingredients, the 3-course gourmet meal will include an array of tempting appetizers and dessert.

This event celebrates the Library’s Centennial year and is also a major fundraiser for the Library. The Friends’ annual calendar for 2011 – historic Rockingham color postcards from the Library archives – will be available for sale along with tickets for a Holiday Quilt raffle that will take place in December.

Come support your Library and enjoy a wonderful evening. Tickets are $25 each. Seating is limited, so call the Library or stop by to purchase tickets.
