Bellows Falls Memorial Day observance, Monday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at the Hetty Green Park. Area bands to provide patriotic music and traditional patriotic color guard presentation.

Parade follows - School Street to Atkinson Street to Arch Bridge, with wreath presentation to honor those lost at sea at the New Hampshire/Vermont bridge in Bellows Falls, followed by a presentation in the Square. Lunch at Post 37 follows the ceremony for all participants.

Please visit the American Legion Post #37 Auxillary display in the front window of Village Square Booksellers at 32 The Square in Bellows Falls, VT.  Wooden crosses in the "cemetery" depict members of the Post that have been soldiers during World War I (Pierce & Lawton for which the post is named), World War II, Korea, Vietnam. etc. Some of the verterans died in battle, others are American Legion Veteran members who have passed away.
