THE STEEL WHEELS are an electrifying American band - taking the traditional,reinventing it and making it 

new. Theirs is a music both ancient and modern - rootedin the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia,

through the hollows and rivers. Wefirst heard of them from our friends Sandy & Kathy Martin, 

no slouches at spottingexciting music, who came back from a small festival in Virginia raving 

about theseguys. One listen and we were hooked. Now starting to tour nationally behind their 

amazing new disc, RED WING (the titlesong a collaboration with Robin & Linda Williams),
