Kristin Cashore will be heading the table when Pat attends the American Booksellers Association/Children's Booksellers Association Tea with Children's authors and illustrators at Book Expo 2012.
Kristin Cashore wrote the New York Times bestsellers Graceling and Fire, both of which have been named ALA Best Books for Young Adults. Graceling is the winner of the 2009 Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Children's Literature and Fire is the winner of Amelia Elizabeth Walden Award. The books are world travelers, currently scheduled to be published in thirty languages. Her third book, Bitterblue, came out in May 2012.
KRISTIN CASHORE is a freelance educational writer who writes content for textbooks and teacher editions. She has written book reviews for "The Horn Book Guide, " and she has had articles published in "The Looking Glass: An Online Children's Literature Journal" and "Children's Literature in Education". Kristin received her master's degree in children's literature in 2003 from Simmons College, where she worked with Liza Ketchum and was named a Virginia Haviland Scholar. She lives in Jacksonville, Florida.
